Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central and Southern Interior of BC (BBBSCSI) is actively seeking community-driven volunteers to join our Board of Directors. Our Board of Directors is responsible for guiding and monitoring our organization’s work.

BBBSCSI is a not-for-profit organization.  Our mission is to enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people. Our vision is that all young people realize their full potential. Visit our What We Do page to learn more about BBBSCSI and visit our Mentoring Services page to learn more about the programs we offer.

We are looking for board members located in the communities we serve—Cranbrook, Kamloops, and Kelowna. Board members must be able to commit to a minimum of twenty-five hours per year and attend six to eight board meetings per year.

Being a board member is empowering and rewarding. Board members are principled and conscientious professionals whose work with the board advances the organization’s mission.

We look forward to hearing from community members who are passionate about what we do and about supporting our organization. BBBSCSI is committed to the principles of diversity; we welcome individuals of any race, religion, culture, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Interested individuals may email Helen Brownrigg, Executive Director, at helen.brownrigg@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca.
