Have fun being a Teen Mentor while receiving volunteer hours towards graduation and post-secondary education opportunities.
Adult In-School Mentoring
In the Adult In-School Mentoring Program, Adult Mentors meet with their Mentees once a week for one hour at an elementary school in Kamloops or Kelowna. The Mentor and their Mentee will play sports and board games, make art or just hang out together. All volunteering takes place on school grounds during school hours.
Study Buddy Program
The Study Buddy Program matches students in Grades 2 – 8 with a Teen or Adult Mentor. It is a one-to-one mentoring relationship that focuses on school work and building connections through a once a week tutoring session. Matches will spend 1 hour per week on a virtual video call together, where the Mentor will help the Mentee with their school work or related skills they want to build upon and practice.
